The team take a seed’s journey through the seed bank with Dr Kate, beginning with their arrival from almost anywhere in the world, to finally being stored indefinitely in  -20oC freezers. The Seed Banks’ target is to store 25% of the world’s plant species by 2020.

On the 19th August 2016, The 2 Show had the privilege of interviewing international wildlife photographers, presenters and authors Jonathan and Angela Scott, who hosted the successful BBC series Big Cat Diary. Tone returned to the Birdfair at Rutland Water to meet Jonathan and Angela and learnt about their life in the Massi Mara, Kenya; from capturing international award winning photographs to following the Marsh Pride of lions for forty years.
