Unit Radio presenters Tone and Henry present a special episode of The 2 Show, which goes behind the scenes at the Millennium Seed Bank in Wakehurst Place with ecologist Dr Kate Hardwick.
The team take a seed’s journey through the seed bank with Dr Kate, beginning with their arrival from almost anywhere in the world, to finally being stored indefinitely in -20oC freezers. The Seed Banks’ target is to store 25% of the world’s plant species by 2020.

Tone returned to the Birdfair at Rutland Water to meet Jonathan and Angela and learnt about their life in the Massi Mara, Kenya; from capturing international award winning photographs to following the Marsh Pride of lions for forty years.
